WHAT'S GOING ON IN AFRICA?

In 2008, Christians were starving in Zimbabwe. Since then, conditions have improved somewhat, but drought conditions have continued to be a persistent problem for our brothers and sisters. Open Hearts Helping hands (OH3 ) was originally founded (and continues to function) to meet the emergency food needs of New Testament Christians in Zimbabwe. Although information is freely shared with churches, no congregational funds are solicited nor accepted by this work.

HOW DOES OH3 WORK?

OH3 works through the loving efforts of volunteers and partners.

No one connected with OH3 receives wages in this effort so that 100% of the donations received for food go to meeting the need. We truly are a non-profit organization.

On the U.S. side, labor for accounting, disbursing funds, advertising, tech support, web development, and even web space is donated.

Operating expenses are covered by separate donations by interested parties.

On the receiving side, tested and proven men also volunteer their time and efforts to find, purchase, and deliver the staple food while keeping and giving account of their efforts.

WHAT IF I WANT TO HELP?

Here is what we need from you.... Know that $50 that will feed a family of 4 for over a month; however, any donation amount is acceptable.

PayPal transfers
OH3 prefers donations via a paper check or a “regular” bank transfer via PayPal to [email protected] . PayPal does not deduct a fee for a “regular” transfer to OH3 made using a bank account whereas they do deduct a fee for an “instant” transfer or where a credit card is used.
